The Union County Health Department is authorized by law to ensure that foods are safe, wholesome, sanitary and regulated products are honestly and accurately represented and in compliance with the state laws and regulations.

Union County Health Department Food Protection Service

bulletMaintains the retail food establishment annual permit records.
bulletA person may not operate a retail food establishment without first having obtained annual food permit from the health department.

bulletConduct inspections and investigations of the retail food establishments to determine compliance with this Rule 410 IAC 7-24.
